About

Hi, I'm Gabriela.

I'm so glad you're here. I know finding the right therapist can feel vulnerable, and I'm honored you're considering me. My hope is that from the very beginning, you'll feel welcomed, accepted, and supported just as you are. Together, we'll create a space where healing, growth, and lasting change are possible.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #152208), I believe that our relationships are at the heart of our well-being. The way we connect with ourselves, our partners, our families, and the people around us shapes how we experience life. When those relationships feel strained, or when past experiences continue to impact the present, it can leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck. My passion is helping clients understand those patterns, heal from them, and create healthier, more fulfilling ways of relating.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and communication difficulties. While every client's story is unique, I often find that many of the struggles we face today have roots in our earlier experiences, attachment patterns, and family dynamics. Together, we'll explore those connections with curiosity and compassion, not to stay in the past, but to better understand the present and create meaningful change for the future.

Working with couples is one of my greatest passions. Whether you're feeling disconnected, caught in recurring conflict, rebuilding trust, adjusting to parenthood, or simply wanting to strengthen your relationship, I help couples move beyond surface-level communication and understand the deeper emotions, needs, and patterns driving their interactions. My goal isn't to determine who's right or wrong, but to help both partners feel heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools that foster emotional connection, trust, and lasting change.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness, attachment theory, and family systems therapy. I believe therapy should be both insightful and practical. Together, we'll not only explore what's contributing to your current challenges but also develop realistic strategies and skills you can apply in your everyday life.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself without judgment. Whether we're processing painful experiences, navigating relationship challenges, or celebrating personal growth, I'll meet you with empathy, honesty, and genuine care. My hope is that our work together helps you build stronger relationships, deepen your understanding of yourself, and create a life that feels more connected, peaceful, and intentional.
