Based in San Francisco. Serving clients throughout California virtually.

Therapy doesn't have to happen in an office to be meaningful. Through secure telehealth, Zest for Life Psychotherapy provides compassionate, relationship-focused therapy to client throughout California. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, family dynamics, a major life transition, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, virtual therapy can offer a convenient and supportive space to slow down, gain perspective, and create meaningful change.

What is Online Therapy?

Online therapy, also called telehealth therapy or virtual therapy, allows you to meet with your therapist through a secure video platform from a private location of your choosing.

Virtual therapy can make it easier to fit therapy into your life without adding a commute to an already busy schedule. For many clients, meeting from home or another comfortable, private space can also make therapy feel more accessible and easier to integrate into their everyday lives.

What Does a Virtual Therapy Session Look Like?

Virtual therapy sessions are conducted through a secure telehealth platform. Before your appointment, you'll receive information about how to access your session. You'll want to choose a private space where you can speak openly and comfortably.

During sessions, we may:

  • Explore what's bringing you to therapy

  • Practice communication and relationship skills

  • Work through difficult emotions or experiences

  • Develop practical strategies between sessions

  • Check in on progress toward your goals

  • Identify patterns that may be contributing to your current concerns

  • Develop greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

The specific focus of therapy will depend on whether you're participating in individual, couples, or family therapy and what you'd like to accomplish.

Is Online Therapy Right for Me?

Virtual therapy can be a good option if you value the flexibility and convenience of meeting from your own space.

It may be especially helpful if:

  • You have a demanding schedule

  • You don't live close to a therapist's office

  • You prefer meeting from home

  • You travel within California

  • You're balancing work, parenting, or other responsibilities

  • You want to avoid adding travel time to your week

During an initial consultation, we can talk about what you're looking for and determine whether virtual therapy and my approach are a good fit for your needs.
